Chocolate Pastry Recipe

Chocoholic heaven!  Come on our Chocolate Workshop to refine your techniques and make this recipe with our cake experts.

Serves 8 individual tarts


  • 235g caster sugar

  • 235g soft butter

  • 120g melted chocolate

  • 500g flour

  • 4 eggs

  • 60g cocoa


  1. Cream the butter and sugar together.

  2. Add the melted chocolate to the mixture and gradually add flour and egg yolks.

  3. Mix briefly, don't overwork. The consistency will resemble breadcrumbs, not a dough like regular pastry.

  4. Press out into tins (DO NOT roll out with a rolling pin).
