Are the breads suitable for freezing?
Yes all of our breads freeze really well. Freezer bags are provided with the sample box for your convenience.
How is the bread delivered?
The breads are delivered by a courier called Priority Express.
What time does the courier deliver?
The couriers deliver anytime between 9am and 5.30pm.
What if I am not in to receive my delivery?
You may leave us any instructions in the customers note section of the order form e.g. leave in porch or with neighbour. However as it is a perishable good they will aim to leave it somewhere safe for you and leave a card notifying where it was left.
Are all orders delivered next day?
Yes we do deliver next day, however due to the ordering and baking process the Shepherds Loaves deliveries only take place on a Friday and the Sample Boxes are only delivered on Wednesday s and Fridays.
How do I place an order online?
On the homepage there is a box that says 'Buy Now'. If you click this link it will take you directly to our online store.
How much does it cost for delivery?
The prices you see on the website for each product include all packaging and delivery costs.
Is there a minimum order?
No, you can order as many or as few boxes as you would like.
Can I place an order if I don't have a PayPal account?
Yes, when you get to the PayPal log in page, rather than logging in you can click the link above the credit card symbols that says 'don't have a PayPal account?' You will then be able to use a credit card to pay for your order.
Can I place a regular order for bread?
Unfortunately we do not have a facility to allow regular orders at this present time; however it is something we are going to look into. If you are a returning customer you can log in to our website when you get to checkout and this will have stored your details for you, saving you having to enter addresses in again.
Do you do any Gluten Free Breads?
No, unfortunately we don't have any gluten free breads at this time.
My PayPal confirmation has come through stating that the order is going to be delivered to my home address rather than the delivery address.
The PayPal confirmation usually comes through stating the home address, however if you have typed the different delivery address on the HHb order form then it is usually correct. However, if you would like t o double check this, please do not hesitate to contact admin@hobbshousebakery.co.uk.
