This is the house where it all started. The original bakery at the back of the shop is where our irresistible confectionery is carefully concocted and crafted.

It is here, half way up the high street and next to our butchery shop, that you’ll find the most extensive selection of our handmade real bread.

A fairy tale of cakes, buns and patisserie jostles for space as they stack towards the celling silently begging ‘eat me’ with a cherry on top! An awesome fridge, filled with hand made sandwiches, and of course the incomparable illy coffee, compete with each other for total satisfaction of the appetite, and of course keep our loyal regulars returning again and again.

This positively pokey bakery is rammed to the rafters: a visual feast assault to compete with the richly evocative aromas of fresh baked bread and fresh ground coffee. All you would expect from a Hobbs House Bakery. And perhaps a crumb or two more!
