Stuffed Chicken Legs Recipe

Serves 2


  • 2 boneless chicken legs

  • 4 rashers streaky bacon

  • For the stuffing:

  • 100g bread crumbs

  • 1 lemon zested

  • big pinch of chopped herbs

  • salt and pepper

  • 1 small onion cooked in butter

  • hot water to bind

  • 1 clove of garlic


  1. Mix all the stuffing ingredients together until it comes together in a nice soft ball.

  2. Place a golf ball size inside each leg. wrap around the skin.

  3. Flatten out the bacon and wrap around the leg like a waist coat. tie using string or butchers bands.

  4. Chill for 30mins before baking for 30mins at 180c.
