Afternoon Baker

The afternoon shift prepares a wide range of products including overnight doughs, artisan breads and roll production. There is a significant amount of hand moulding and oven work undertaken and you will be expected to be able to work as part of the team on multiple tasks. An important aspect of the role is that you will be using our recipe control system to start the whole process off in the Bakery by preparing the dry ingredients for each mix (salt, yeast, seeds, fruit, etc).

The perfect candidate will:

  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Be flexible, adaptable, self–motivated and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Be dextrous and able to work accurately at a high pace.

Ideally you will be a have experience of working as a baker in a similar environment however, attitude is more important than experience. Full training will be given and development into further roles is possible.

Working hours are Sunday to Friday 2pm - 10pm (37.5 hours) with a day off on Wednesday.
