Leading our afternoon team to ensure our exceptional handmade bread reaches the customer at its freshest. You will lead a team that prepare the bread to leave the bakery in the way that best suits our customers. This means you will oversee the wrapping, slicing and distributing of both fresh and frozen orders.
Who we are
Hobbs House Bakery was established in the Cotswolds in the 1920s and we are a true family business with five generations of baking experience. We are now bringing up the sixth generation of aspiring bakers. We believe that handmade bread should be available to everyone. At our bakery in Chipping Sodbury our expert team of bakers produce an exceptional range of high-quality breads, pastries and confectionery. We have a thriving wholesale business and six shops, four based in the Cotswolds and two in Bristol.
The Bakery operates 24 hours 6 days a week producing our quality bread, morning goods and cakes. The Despatch team primarily starts in the evening and works through the night, this role will provide consistency and excellent customer service at the start of the process.
You will need
To be a great team player, with a good eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
To be flexible and hard working with the ability to deliver consistent, high quality work
A driving licence is essential and a fork lift licence desirable.

This is a full time role, 40 hours working Monday to Friday 12pm till 8pm
