Who we are
Hobbs House Bakery was established in the Cotswold's in the 1920's and we are a true family business with five generations of baking experience.
We believe that handmade bread should be available to everyone. At our bakery in Chipping Sodbury our expert team of bakers produce an exceptional range of high quality breads, pastries and confectionery.
We bake daily a fantastic variety of products using our family recipes. We use traditional and modern methods and the finest ingredients to produce award winning products.
We have a thriving wholesale business throughout the South West plus four shops based in the Cotswold's and one in Bristol.
We have experienced high demand for our products and are recruiting across all three shift patterns to allow for further growth.
Shifts patterns are: 4am-12pm (later start Sunday), 12pm to 8pm or 8pm to 4am.
Working days are: Sunday to Friday with a fixed day off in the week.
All shifts prepare a mixture of tinned breads, rolls and artisan breads. Our Production Operatives will initially be given tasks suitable for their skill level. Attitude is more important than experience and we can offer a development pathway for aspiring bakers and an apprenticeship framework is available for those interested.
