Our story

We are a fifth generation family business that has been baking the finest bread, cakes and pastries since 1920. Throughout the last 100 years we have been committed to being the very best for our people, communities and environment. Our delicious, handmade products are enjoyed in our shops and right across the South West and beyond. Find them in farm shops, delis, restaurants and cafes. Our bakery

We are a friendly and busy bakery making a wide range of artisan sourdoughs, overnight doughs, rolls, and speciality bread; many of which are award winning. Our confectionary team make a wide range of delicious loaf cakes, tray bakes and pastries.

The role

To assist the Stock Controller with day to day management of the Stores Area. To carry out internal deliveries to our shops. 

  • Accepting incoming deliveries and ensure that these are allocated to the correct area
  • Picking, packing and delivering stock goods for outgoing orders to our shops
  • Help prepare for and carry out regular stock checks in accordance with our company stock rotation procedures
  • Assist with ordering of ingredients/stock
  • Ensuring that the Stores area is always kept clean and tidy
  • Any other task that may be reasonably demanded from time to time

 Skills needed:

Good communication skills

Proactive and able to organise workload

Good IT skills

Full driving licence

Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm (some flexibility)
