An English classic, the Bakewell Slice. Buttery throughout with almond sponge and punchy rasberry jam.
Our Bakewell Slice has a crisp butter base and a light sponge middle. We are generous with the rasberry jam and this makes for a wonderfully flavoursome cake. Whole cherries are pulled through the jam adding a brilliantly fruity flavour.
