    Hobbs House Bakery Classics

    • As a 6th generation family bakery we love a bit of nostalgia. With this in mind we have created a baking course which will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy!

One of the bakes you will find on our shop counter, if you time it just right, still warm from the oven. We just love our Portuguese custard tarts and they are as good as they have always been.

We are also bringing back The Quern, a lovely 100% wholemeal sourdough with sunflower seeds; for a small loaf it really packs a punch.

Not forgetting the black olive and sundried tomato loaf. Anna remembers Tom bringing this loaf to the shop where she worked on a Saturday and here we are 25 years later, that must say something about the bread! Although familiar, we are giving it a little tweak here and there; we decided to share the recipe and give you the opportunity to make your own memories.

Come take a trip down memory lane with us and then share your bakes at home  with family and friends.

      Joining Instructions
Coffee and freshly baked pastries will be served 30 minutes before the course begins. The course will start promptly at the advertised time. Refreshments throughout the day are also included.

We provide all equipment, including aprons here at the Hobbs House Bakery Cookery School, so all you need on the day is yourselves and a passion for baking.
