  • Organic Wild White Sourdough

    • This limited edition Wild White Sourdough was made from Maris Widgeon grain, grown just 10 miles away from our bakery by local farmer John Prior. We have closely followed the journey of this crop all the way from seeing it grow, to being harvested, and finally being milled by Shipton Mill.

      A flavour filled crust with a moist and chewy centre and irresistible sourdough flavour. This takes its name from the wild, natural yeasts in the sourdough starter used to rise all of our sourdough loaves. Made from just organic flour, water and sea salt; fermented for 14 hours.

      A proud winner of two stars in The Great Taste Awards and a finalist in The Soil Association's Best of Organic Bakery category.

      Frozen at -18°c, it will keep for 12 months

      Thaw for 4–6 hours at an ambient temperature (or left overnight bagged in a refrigerator) We recommend that you bake off at 180° – 200°c for 5 minutes to enliven the crust.

      Will keep up to 5 days from delivery stored in a cool dry place.
