Once you have booked a course with us you will receive confirmation
of your order by email along with specific information about the running of the day. If you have purchased this as a gift for someone then it would be helpful to pass this on to them.
Please let us know, 2 weeks in advance, if you have any dietary
requirements,
allergies or intolerances and we will do our best to accommodate your
needs. We cannot guarantee that course content will be altered for
specific requirements.
Ingredients, utensils, knives, equipment and aprons are provided for all courses. We also provide refreshments, which may include lunch, throughout the day. Please check individual course details for more specific information.
You will be given a full housekeeping overview at the beginning of your Workshop or Master class, which will include information on the nearest fire exits, kitchen standards and toilets. We ask all attendees to wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes as well as practical clothing. We will provide aprons. Hobbs House School and Bakery is a non-smoking building.
Unless otherwise stated in the workshops or master class details, the classes are not suitable for children and can only be attended by people over the age of 16.
We encourage the use of photography in the workshops but ask that you take into account the preference and privacy of the other students. Please do not disturb other guests with excessive phone use. We will often take photographs on the day at our courses which may be posted online, please let us know if you would rather not be included. We reserve the right to make amendments to any workshop or masterclass content and recipes without notice.
In the unlikely event of the cancellation of a course by Hobbs House School, we will fully refund you or offer a swap to another course. We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs, such as travel bookings or accommodation.
Up to one month before the course date:
Amendments to bookings can be made up to one month before the start of the course; we will happily swap you to a different course if you change your mind before this time.
Between one month and one week before the course date:
Amendments to bookings can be made if we are able to fill your spot on the course, you are welcome to send someone in your place but we would appreciate it if you could advise us in advance.
One week before the course date:
No amendments to bookings can be made.
If you need to speak to us on the day of the course please call the school direct, which is situated above our shop in Chipping Sodbury on 01454 317525. No refund will be given for non-attendance due to illness.
Hobbs House Bakery reserve the right to refuse entry to or ask a person to leave should we consider their behaviour unacceptable, or disruptive to other attendees.
