We are a fifth generation family business that has been baking the finest bread, cakes and pastries since 1920. Throughout the last 100 years we have been committed to being the very best for our people, communities and environment. Our delicious, handmade products are enjoyed in our five shops and right across the South West and beyond. Find them in farm shops, delis, restaurants and cafes. We are a friendly and busy bakery making a wide range of artisan sourdoughs, overnight doughs, rolls, and speciality bread; many of which are award winning. Our confectionary team make a wide range of delicious loaf cakes, tray bakes and pastries.
The morning shift prepares a wide range of products including overnight doughs, artisan breads and roll production. There is a significant amount of hand moulding and oven work undertaken and you would be expected to be able to work as part of the team on multiple tasks. Attitude is more important than experience and whilst ideally we are looking for a proven baker we can offer full training with a development pathway.
Working hours are Sunday 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday 4am-12pm (Day off Thursday).
The salary offered will be competitive and depend on experience.
