Fabulous Baker Brother Henry Herbert and his team will be showcasing their award-winning handmade bread alongside their butchery’s finest meat as they light up the barbecue and open the bar to keep jazz lovers well fed and watered.
By day the Hobbs House BBQ will serve pulled pork rolls, chilli hot dogs and sourdough brownies, all washed down with a bottle of the finest Birra Moretti. In the evening, they’ll be dimming the lights and lighting the candles to set the atmosphere for the Hobbs House Supper Club.
The Supper Club timings allow diners to attend the day’s final headline concert in the Festival Big Top, gigs that include Jamie Cullum, Laura Mvula, Friday Night Is Music Night, Robert Cray, Gregory Porter, and Jools Holland.
Supper Club diners will enjoy cocktails and canapés as a forerunner to a banquet-style feast of bread, beef and Birra Moretti. Of course, if meat’s not your thing, there will be vegetarian options available too. And, for those with a sweet tooth, you can rely on Hobbs House to complete your meal with just the right sugar rush. The Hobbs House supper experience ends with coffee and truffles.
