Our Rye Sourdough Bread is a mystery in the making, using just three ingredients, rye, water and salt. Made using our 60 year old sourdough over 42 hours, this bread is the antidote to mass produced bread. Our Rye Sourdough Bread is organic and made using a light rye.
Free from processed wheat, yeast and dairy, this rye sourdough bread is much gentler on your tummy. Lots of you who have wheat intolerances tell us that this bread has revolutionized your diet. We have been making Rye Sourdough bread like this for decades, using a naturally leavened sourdough, this is by far our best one yet.
The Rye Sourdough loaf makes the most amazing pastrami and rye sandwiches or try it in our Stratford melter belter recipe.
Frozen at -18°c, it will keep for 12 months
Thaw for 4–6 hours at an ambient temperature. We recommend that you bake off at 180° – 200°c for 5 minutes to enliven the crust.
