  • Gromit arrives for Chipping Sodbury festival

    Here at Hobbs House Bakery we are delighted to announce that Gromit has come to stay in our garden in Chipping Sodbury High Street, he has been loaned to us from local company Yate Supplies.
    The next two weeks are Chipping Sodbury’s annual festival.  We have lots going on in our shops to celebrate and will be fundraising for the Grand Appeal too.
    We will be running a Gromit colouring competition while Gromit is here and all entries are to be displayed in our shop. We will also be selling Gromit Biscuits
    On Saturday June 21st between 11.30-3pm we will be holding a decorate your own Gromit biscuit workshop in our café – this is the main Chipping Sodbury festival day.
    There will also be local schools to coming to visit us.
    Chipping Sodbury festivalhas activities spread across the next two weeks, culminating in Festival day.  
    It’s a great time to come and explore Chipping Sodbury, all shops have Disney inspired windows and a spot the error competition running.
