Our charitable giving supports our purpose of nourishing people and communities,
with a focus on improving access to good food and supporting local impact.
We truly enjoy working closely with local charities, using our food to make a positive difference.
We’re proud to regularly support many local charities in feeding those in need through our bread.
Additionally, we back our teams with a matched donation scheme, to boost the positive change.
We prioritise working with initiatives that are located within 25 miles of our bakery and directly support individuals affected by food poverty or those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Additionally, we proudly back any meaningful cause that is personally championed by a member of our team.

Ifakara Bakery Fund
We started baking our GiFt loaf over ten years ago, and we have always supported this bakery in Tanzania with a buy one give one scheme.

FareShare
We have worked together for many years, supplying them with bread, surplus, and ‘wonky’ products to be redistributed into their communities. This year we have made a commitment to donate 200 loaves a week for them to re-purpose into their communities.

Family Food 4 Free
This was set up by Aimee and Daniel Waters during Covid times, and its legacy lives on providing surplus food for those that need it in our local community, no questions asked. Uncle Sam delivers our bread to them twice a week.

The Long Table
Feeding Change is the CIC behind the Long Table, founded by our brother Tom, where Uncle Sam’s family and Henry’s wife also work; they try to answer, ‘What if everyone in our community had access to great food and people to eat it with?’ We support them and their other social enterprises.

Reverse Rett
A charity close to our hearts as one of our team’s daughters has this life-changing disease; their work is researching and trying to find a cure.

MNDA
Our driver, Andy, has literally run thousands of miles for this amazing charity; we support him wherever we can.
