Bailey Curtis exhibits at Hobbs House Nailsworth

Bailey Curtis will be exhibiting her work titled “Allotment” upstairs in our Nailsworth Bakery throughout May. Bailey is taking part in Stroud International Textiles – textiles and contemporary crafts exhibition 2014.

Bailey has a City & Guilds Embroidery Part 1, City & Guilds Creative Textiles Part 2 and a Diploma in Stitched Textiles from East Berkshire College, Windsor. She also holds a Diploma in Weaving, Spinning & Dyeing from Bradford College of Art & Technology.

She is a member of the International Feltmakers Association, South West Textile Group and other smaller exhibiting groups.

Bailey has been making felt for 20 years, having been a weaver before that. Inspiration comes from shapes, surfaces & textures found in the landscape around the country.

On Tuesday 6th you can come and meet the artist for tea in Nailsworth from 4-6pm
