Course of the month:
A few weeks ago, Chipping Sodbury was host to it's very own baking competition at Hobbs House School. Held as part of Chipping Sodbury Food Festival, we had 50 entrants to the competition, and some of the bread and cakes were just amazing. The grand prize for the top three winners was a coveted place on a class in our school.
Keith Strickland, Operations Manager from Hobbs House Bakery, came along to judge the bread, but ended up helping out with the cakes too as the response had been so overwhelming. This is what Keith had to say about the day:
“It really was difficult to pick the winners, the skill shown by all entrants was top class.
We met some lovely people, and also had lovely comments.”
