Last month saw the return of the much-anticipated Chelsea Flower Show, a staple in the horticultural calendar. And we’re incredibly proud that, for the fourth year, we were there too!
Over the years, we have had the pleasure of supplying them with a selection of Hobbs products. From our regenerative burger buns to fresh pastries and seasonal cakes, it’s always a privilege to play a small part in such an iconic event. The Chelsea Flower Show always showcases creativity and innovation, all whilst bringing together the best in the business in the horticulture. For us, it’s a real honour to have our product chosen to be a part of the event.
One of the most talked-about moments from this year was the return of the garden gnome. A longtime ban was lifted to raise money for the next generation of gardeners through the RHS’ Campaign for School Gardening. Just like us, the RHS recognises the importance of investing in future generations, helping to inspire and develop the skills that will keep traditional crafts and industries thriving for years to come.
Sustainability was a key theme throughout this year’s show, with many of the gardens demonstrating how thoughtful planting can support biodiversity, improve soil health and create thriving natural environments. It’s an approach that aligns closely with our own values at Hobbs. Just like the gardeners at Chelsea nurture the land, we are also committed to working closely with farmers who are doing the same through regenerative farming practices. Where possible, we prioritise sourcing local ingredients, supporting British agriculture and reducing food miles. We’re proud to be able to say that all our Burger Buns are made using regenerative flour.
Alongside our regenerative Ultimate Burger Buns, we were excited to also supply some of our pastries, cakes, and scones for visitors to enjoy throughout the event. It’s been a pleasure to be a part of this iconic event for another year, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.
