"I’m really excited about the opportunity of leading Hobbs House Bakery and shaping the future of British handmade bread in the years to come".

In George's early years he lived above the bakery in Chipping Sodbury; from the day it was legal for a family member to do so he worked in the bakery, until he left for university.

But through all his ensuing adventures, George knew he’d be back one day! He spent his wilderness years away from Hobbs House Bakery, seeing the world, sailing the seas and honing his project management skills at the Telecom giant Orange for nine years. Having rejoined Hobbs House Bakery in early 2011; he has so far enjoyed funneling the huge amounts of passion and enthusiasm within the business into planning, improving and delivering outstanding, more consistent and innovative products and services for all our customers. He loves the bakery, and loves seeing how it’s grown and progressed over the years.

George is currently preparing to take over from his father Trevor as managing director of Hobbs House Bakery.
