This weekend, some of the HHB team completed the three peaks challenge. Climbing the three highest peaks in the UK came with its fair share of challenges; from not everyone being able to finish, to a thunderstorm on Scafell Pike preventing the team from reaching the summit. Despite these setbacks, the support, resilience, strength, and care shown for one another were truly remarkable.
A massive well done to each and every member of the team, you’re an inspiration to us all!
Tom H said about the experience:
'Brutal but rewarding challenge and amazing experience with all the team! Also lovely to get to know the wider team of Hobbs. Let’s do more things like this together as a team'
We’re incredibly proud to have already raised over £5k for Reverse Rett, a wonderful cause close to our hearts. Our colleague Meg’s daughter, Alba, lives with Rett Syndrome, and she was our motivation to keep going throughout the challenge.
'As a team (from the very start way back when), you did amazing. It really felt like being with people we've known for years. It's rare these days to sink into instant comfort with a group.'
Thank you also to:
